Community health summit set for April 30
Public invited to hear results, shape wellness initiatives
A collaborative effort is underway in Anderson County to assess and address the health needs of local residents through the 2025 Healthy Anderson Community Health Needs Assessment (CHNA).
Led by Methodist Medical Center, Ridgeview Behavioral Health Services, and the Anderson County Health Department, the CHNA seeks to identify the region’s top health priorities by gathering data from a variety of sources. These include public surveys, focus groups, health statistics, and interviews with community stakeholders.
The CHNA process is designed to create a comprehensive picture of the community’s health and to inform decisions on future health programs, policies, and the allocation of resources. In addition to examining medical needs, the assessment also explores social, environmental, and economic factors that impact well-being—such as housing, transportation, access to care, mental health services, and nutrition.
The community is invited to attend a Health Summit on Wednesday, April 30, at the United Way of Anderson County. During the event, organizers will share key findings from the assessment and outline the top health priorities identified through public input. Attendees will be able to ask questions, provide feedback, and learn how to get involved in local health improvement efforts.
