Youth leadership program kicks off its new class
Youth Leadership Anderson County has launched its 2025-26 program, bringing together 35 students from Anderson County High School and Clinton High School.
The Youth Leadership Anderson County Class of 2026 began the year with a full day of orientation that included team-building activities and an introduction to local industry and economic development.
Students toured AISIN and SL Tennessee, and heard a presentation on the county’s economic drivers from Andy Wallace of the Anderson County Economic Development Association.
The program was led by Marsha Stapleton, program director for Leadership Anderson County through the Anderson County Chamber of Commerce.
“Programs like Youth Leadership Anderson County are vital in preparing our young people for the future,” said Rick Meredith, president of the Chamber of Commerce.
“These students represent the bright future of our county,” he said.
“By giving them the tools, experiences and connections they need today, we are investing in stronger communities and stronger leadership for tomorrow.”
The orientation program was supported by AISIN.
