“I’m very, very pleased with the way that we’ve been playing.”

The Lady Dragons, who swept a doubleheader against Scott County on Tuesday, April 7, also competed in the Gibbs Invitational over the weekend.

Clinton opened tournament play with a 7-0 win over Kingsport Dobyns-Bennett.

“That was a big win for us, too,” Sams said.
