Austin Thomas Ezell, 28, Clinton, passed away at his residence Thursday, May 7, 2020.
The love of Austin’s life were his two children, Braxton and Emma Ezell. Austin was born Oct. 27, 1991, in Knoxville, and was a graduate of Clinton High School.
He was preceded in death by: Grandparents, Lonnie and Violet Ezell; great-grandparents, Harlan and Annis Ridenour
He is survived by: Children, Braxton and Emma Ezell of Clinton; mother, Sarena Ezell of Clinton; father, Thomas Ezell of Oak Ridge; brothers, Corey and Tyson Ezell of Clinton; sister, Sierra Ezell of Clinton; grandmother, Darlene Ridenour of Clinton.

BETTY JO WILSON

Betty Jo Wilson, 89, Clinton, passed away Tuesday, May 5, 2020, at Diversicare of Oak Ridge.
She was the last surviving child of five for Leroy and Dixie Johnson. Betty Jo was well known for her catering business, Betty’s Catering, and most of all her famous “Betty Cake” to many in the community. Betty Jo was also a longtime employee of Proffitt’s and a loyal member of Black Oak Baptist Church in Clinton.
She is survived by: Children, Barry Wilson of Clinton, Richard Wilson of Texas, Anna (Jim) Ridings of Clinton and Donna (Jeff) Gross of Clinton; grandchildren, Kelley (David) Adkins, Adam Ridings, Shai Simpson, Jonathon (Tara) Wilson, Michelle Wilson, Brooke (T.J.) Brennan, Ashley (Cody) Key and Sara Lackey; great-grandchildren, Kayla and Quenton Johnson, Lexi and Madison Wilson, Faith York, and Maidlyn and Marley Key, Avigail and Hayden Lakey; and special niece, Bobbie Holcomb.
There will be no services at this time and Betty’s ashes will be interred at Black Oak Baptist Church of Clinton at a later date.

THERRELL FREDRICKS

Therrell Fredricks, 70, Clinton, died Monday, May 4, 2020, at Methodist Medical Center of Oak Ridge.
He was born March 8, 1950, in Whitley City, Ky., the son of Dallas and Lois Fredricks, who preceded him in death. Mr. Fredricks was a 1969 graduate of Norris High School. He was employed with H&H Body Shop in Clinton, in the Detail and Quality Control Department, where he worked for many years.
He was an avid NASCAR fan and a fan of University of Tennessee football, preferring to listen to the radio broadcast of UT games rather than watch the television coverage.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Fredricks was preceded in death by: Infant sister; and granddaughter, Jaimie Fredricks.
He is survived by: Wife, Laquata Sanders Fredricks; daughter, Wenonah Fredricks; sons he raised as his own, Mark Fredricks (Akiko), Jason Sanders, and Cody Fredricks.
Mr. Fredricks is also survived by: Sister, Charlotte Phillips and her husband David; four brothers, Wendell Fredricks and his wife Wanda, Wayne Fredricks and his wife Linda, Jeff Fredricks, and Dallas Fredricks Jr.
His grandchildren are Brittney, Heather, Amber, Jeremy, Joshua, Cole, and Camden, who he thoroughly enjoyed the time he spent with them, especially with Camden.
He is also survived by four great-grandchildren, Raelynn, Jackson, Mia and Landon; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Barry Hutchins and Darla Bayless, co-owners of H&H Body Shop, were considered special friends, as was Lynn Phillips, a friend since childhood.
A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, May 9, 2020, at Sinking Springs Methodist Church Cemetery in Clinton.
A viewing time will be held from noon to 4 p.m. Friday, May 8, 2002, at Hatmaker Funeral Home in Rocky Top.

David Jordan Duncan, 66, Powell, passed away Monday, May 4, 2020, at his home.
He loved spending time with his family and enjoyed traveling with his wife going on cruises and beach vacations. During his career he was in sales in the trucking industry and retired in January, 2020. David was a big sports fan.
David was preceded in death by his father, Jordan Thomas Duncan, and mother, Emilee Parks Duncan.
He is survived by: Wife, Kimberly Ann Duncan; sons, Jesse Duncan and Jordan Duncan; daughters, Melanie Berry (Daniel), Kimberly Stringfield, and Kalie Stidham (Josh); brother, Thomas Duncan (Carol); sister, Jacquita Wilson; nine grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews and other family and friends

Bonnie Marie Young, 84, Clinton, died Friday, May 1, 2020, at her home.
Being of the Baptist faith she was a matriarch to her family and deeply loved by all those fortunate to have known her.
She was preceded in death by: Parents, John Seals and Maude Young; husband, Lloyd Young; son, Steve Young; and numerous siblings.
Survivors include: Brother, Jack Young and wife Norma Jean of Jellico; sister, June Bowery and husband Bob of Cincinnati, Ohio; daughters, Jan Douglas and husband LaVern, and Kathy Young of Clinton; granddaughters, Amy Kirkham and husband Jeremy, Amanda Young, Ashley Douglas; great-grandchildren, Alex Wood, Cheyenne Cooper, Christian Young, Jack Kirkham, and Zachary Kirkham; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Marie Guy, 98, Clinton, passed away at her home Tuesday, April 28, 2020, surrounded by her family.
Marie was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She enjoyed spending time with her family, going to church, and her flower garden. She was a life member of Black Oak Baptist Church in Clinton and retired from AT&T.
Marie was preceded in death by: Husband, Earl C. Guy; parents, Walter Johnson and Iva (Huckaby) Johnson; siblings, Eugene Johnson, Garnet Johnson, Larue Johnson, Aubrey Johnson, Floyd Johnson, Edward Johnson, Harlen Johnson, Mary Alice Robbins and Maxine James.
Marie leaves behind: Daughters, Doris Roberts, Barbara Saylor and husband James; siblings, Norris Johnson, and Elizabeth Huebner; four grandsons; six great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Marie’s graveside service will be at 2 p.m. Friday, May 1, 2020, at the Black Oak Baptist Church cemetery in Clinton with the Rev. Mack Smith officiating.

Pamela Jean Jones, 65, passed away April 28, 2020, in Clinton.
She was born in New Castle, Ind., to Beverly Jean Robinson (Jean) and the late Elmer Alvin Robinson (Robbie).
She was preceded in death by: Husband, Robert Allen Jones III; father, Elmer Alvin Robinson; and sister, Donna Wood.
Pamela graduated from Vero Beach High school in 1971 and went on to graduate with a degree in nursing from Indian River Community College in 1974. She was passionate in her career as a labor and delivery nurse at the University of Tennessee Medical Center for 18 years.
Pamela was married to the late Robert Allen Jones III for 35 years. She was a devoted wife and loved her husband dearly. Her interests included traveling with her husband and family, spending time with her grandchildren, listening to music (especially Michael Bolton), taking walks with her dog, Oliver, arts and crafts, and decorating for Christmas.
Pamela is survived by: Mother, Beverly Jean Snyder-Robinson of Dayton; sons, Robert A. Jones IV (Bobby) and fiancé Jonni of Loudon, Michael Jones and wife Allison of Clinton, Sean Jones of Sumter, S.C.; grandchildren, Jordan Jones of Knoxville, Caroline and Emerson Jones of Clinton; brother, Robbie Robinson and wife Nancy of Sebastian, Fla.; sister, Suzanne Davis of Dayton; stepmother, Barbara Robinson of Sebastian, Fla.; special nieces, Shannon Hemness and Kathy Sherman; as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A family interment will be held at Crestlawn Cemetery in Vero Beach, Fla., Friday, May 8, 2020.
A Celebration of Life for Pam will be held locally at a later date.

LINCOLN STEPHEN BOLLINGER

Lincoln Stephen Bolinger entered his heavenly home April 27, 2020.
He was born July 12, 1941, in Medford to Lincoln Price and Ruth Wilson Bolinger. He spent much of his time growing up on the farm of his grandparents, John and Ocie (Sievers) Bolinger, in Tennessee. Eventually he moved to Cleveland, Ohio, and finally settled in Lancaster, Ohio.
Lincoln was a truck driver for 30 years, working for Roadway Express, Jones Transfer and retiring from NW. He earned several safe driver awards throughout his career. He was a member of Teamsters Local 413. He was a member of First Baptist Church, Lancaster, Ohio. In his younger years he was a member of Clinch River Baptist Church, Rocky Top, and had a favorite Sunday school teacher, Dorsey Fritts. He enjoyed gospel and bluegrass music, and he was an avid fan of the Cleveland Browns and the Tennessee Volunteers.
He was preceded in death by: Parents; paternal grandparents; maternal grandparents, Isaac and Elizabeth (Richardson) Wilson; sister, Mary Kite; brother, Howard Bolinger; and infant brother, Ray Bolinger.
Surviving are: Wife of 58 years, Dena (Mayes) Bolinger; children, Stephen (Lucinda) Bolinger of Reynoldsburg, Ohio, Vickie Bolinger of DeLand, Fla., Linda (Luke) Tse of Cedarville, Ohio, and Libby (Tim) Neely of Sunbury, Ohio; grandchildren, Jessica (Taylor) Cronise, Daniel Dubberly, Ethan Neely, Austin Neely and Christina Tse; great-grandchildren, Lawton Cooke, Ansley Cronise and Clayton Dubberly; brother, Woody (Diane) Bolinger; sisters, Fay (Larry) Harter and Carolyn Lewallen; many nieces, nephews and cousins; dear cousins, David Webster, Willie Ruth Parks, Paul Young, Wilma (Young) Ellis, Stanley Young and Marti McIntosh; and longtime friends, John and Sue Duncan.
A graveside service was held at 2 p.m. Sunday, May 3, 2020, at Clinch River Baptist Cemetery with the Rev. Larry Webster and Dr. Luke Tse officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Shriners Hospital or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
