Lucille Phillips, 91, left this world Feb. 7, 2019, to be reunited in Heaven with loved ones who have gone on before her: Precious children, Baby Phillips, Joyce Ann Phillips, and only son, Winford Lee Phillips; grandson, Jeffrey Lynn Powell; mother and father, Rhoda Ann Powell Stringfield and Andrew Jackson Stringfield; husband, Wilford Phillips; sister, Mable Lee Phillips; and dearest friend, Dorothy Hill.
Left to mourn her passing are: Three daughters, Wilma (Doug) Powell, Brenda (Doug) Petrowski, and Karen (Steve) Webber; a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild; special friends, Anna Mae Rucker, Sharon Rucker and Sue Miles.

Oscar Webber, 88, Clinton, passed away at home surrounded by his family Wednesday, Feb. 6, 2019.
In the early 1960’s Oscar enjoyed working in the logging industry. He loved cutting down the logs and hauling them with his horse, Jim. When done he would turn Jim lose and tell him go home and Jim would be waiting at the house on Oscar. He eventually left the logging industry and started mowing and cleaning graves at Sunset Cemetery in the early 1970’s. He worked there off and on for more than 20 years. He also mowed yards for people throughout the years plus he loved gardening and raising chickens. He loved to plant tomatoes the most and grow some of the biggest watermelons. He had many different kinds of chickens and roosters over the years. He also enjoyed working with wood — building things from log cabins to swings to put in the log cabins. He was a man of many talents and a very patient one too. Oscar loved to share stories with his family when they came to visit him. He loved all his family dearly especially the love of his life his wife, who he called Doll.
Oscar was preceded in death by: Father, Bill Webber, and mother, Frances Currier Webber; daughter, Brenda Sue Webber; six brothers; and five sisters.
He is survived by: Wife of 61 years, Ruby B. Webber; children, Rose Ann Webber, Wanda Jean Webber and husband Calvin, Carolyn Faye Webber, Sam Edward Webber and wife Kelly, David Wane Webber and wife Loretta, Jimmy Webber and wife Tonya; 16 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.
Oscar’s family will receive his friends from 6- 8 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 9, 2019, in the chapel of Jones Mortuary with the Rev. Larry Burchfield officiating.
His interment will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 10, 2019, at Farmers Grove Baptist Church Cemetery in Clinton.

Billie Elizabeth Braden, 78, Clinton, went home to be with her Lord Tuesday, Feb. 5, 2019.
She was born in Lake City Sept. 23, 1940, to the late Carl and Maggie Braden Goans. Billie was a member of Bell’s Campground Baptist Church. She enjoyed studying her Bible and doing needle point.
In addition to her parents, Billie was preceded in death by husband, Robert F. Braden.
Survived by: Sons, Carl (Tammy) Braden, Neal (Sandy) Braden; grandchildren, Adam (Kellie) Braden, Ashlyn Braden, Jordan (Ashley) Braden, Chandler (Kendall) Braden, and Gavin Braden; great-grandchildren, Briley, Eleanor and Weston; special friends: Jan Cox, Larry and Sherry Rob-bins.

Funeral services for Ms. Mary Lynn Donihe Mills, 47, Manchester, were conducted at 11 a.m. Friday, Feb. 8, 2019, at Manchester Funeral Home with Bro. Danny Anderson officiating.
Burial followed in Rose Hill Memorial Gardens. The family received friends from 4 – 7 p.m. at the funeral home Thursday, Feb. 7, 2019.
Mary was born Aug. 23, 1971, in Atlanta, Ga., to Catherine Hillon Henry and the late Bobby Donihe. She was known as the “Floor Covering Lady.” Mary liked being outdoors, fishing, and camping. She was a hard worker and devoted friend. Mary loved spending time with her family and friends, and she had a heart of gold.
Mary is survived by: Mother, Catherine Hillon Henry of Manchester; loving boyfriend of severn years, Creg Melton of Manchester; one step-brother, David Donihe of Connecticut; one step-sister, Lorra Fields of Kingsport.

Beverly Jane White, 72, Lake City, passed away Feb. 4, 2019, at Summit View of Rocky Top.
Beverly was born Dec. 22, 1946, in Briceville to the late Willard Lee and Betty June Foust White. She was a member of the First Baptist Church. Beverly loved people, her birds, and going to church.
She was preceded in death by: Parents; brother, James White; sister, Victoria Lee White; aunt, Anna Bea and Eugene Jones.
She is survived by many cousins, family, and friends.
Visitation was from 6 – 8 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 6, 2019, at Hatmaker Funeral Home.

Alan Stuart Morgan, 71, Knoxville, passed away Sunday, Feb. 3, 2019, at his home.
He was an USMC Veteran serving in Vietnam and was a Purple Heart recipient. Alan loved his family. He enjoyed playing golf and was an avid University of Tennessee fan.
Alan was preceded in death by: Parents, Albert and Hazel Morgan; and daughter, Amy Morgan.
Alan is survived by: Wife, Lori Morgan of Knoxville; daughter, Casey Austin of Guntersville, Ala.; son, Clay Williams of Morris, Ala.; sister, Sandra Moore of Sevierville; grandson, J.T. Austin; and a host of friends.

Aline Dabney Martin, 97, Lake City, passed away peacefully at her residence Feb. 2, 2019.
Aline was born Oct. 5, 1921 in Beech Grove to the late William Burley and Alice Duncan Dabney. She was a lifelong member of the Main Street Baptist Church. Aline loved flowers, cooking, reading and going to church.
She was preceded in death by: Parents; husband, Roy F. Martin; brothers, William “Bill” Owen, Eldridge “Mutt,” and Joe Glen Dabney; sisters, Thelma Hendren, Hazel Lou Hall, and Marie Sharp.
Survivors: Sons, Dennie and Kaye Martin of Union Mill, N.C., James “Ronnie” and Joan Martin of Lake City; grandchildren, Januarie and Douglas West, Jessica and Alan Lane, April and Chris Rowe; great-grandchildren, Holland and Browning West, Luke and Finn Lane, Nicholas and Noah Boggs, Austin, Joey and Abigail Rowe; caregivers, Ethel Kennedy, Gail Harris, Sharon Sharp and Pam Romig; many nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
