Freddie Paul Hatmaker, 66, Caryville, passed away Saturday, June 10, 2017, at LaFollette Medical Center.
Freddie was born April 20, 1951, in Baltimore, Md., to the late Ernest Lee and Oma Duncan Hattmaker. He worked as an employee of Rocky Top for 38 years. Freddie loved working on cars, collecting flashlights and knives and going to flea markets.
He was preceded in death by: Parents; son, Nate Hatmaker; brother, Lee Hatmaker; and father-in-law, Fred Roberts.
Survivors: Wife, Sherry Roberts Hatmaker of Caryville; sons, Bryan Vowell and Amanda of Beech Grove, Adam Hatmaker and Erica of Jacksboro; daughter, Haley Maiden and Jacob of Lake City; grandchildren, Noah, Alexis, Logan and Skyler; and a host of nieces, nephews, and special friends.
Visitation was from 6 – 8 p.m. Tuesday, June 13, 2017, at the Hatmaker Funeral Home.
Freddie’s request was to be cremated after his visitation.

Thana Dean Stair Lehman, 84, passed away Wednesday, May 24, 2017.
She was born May 17, 1933, and grew up in Clinton. She lived the last two years of her life in Norris. Dean loved fine art, all music, reading and travel, especially to Scotland. Her work was in the healthcare industry as a nurse. She was especially suited for this profession and earned her nickname “Mercy” as she was so caring and loving to her patients.
Dean was preceded in death by Parents, Roy and Ora Smith Stair; son, Brantley Giles; brothers, Jerome, Frank, Brooks, Earl, Foozie and Denver Stair; and sister, Mary Ellen Bittle.
She is survived by: Loving husband of 43 years, William Fred Lehman; daughter, Beverly Giles Pruett, and grandsons, Phillip and Patrick; sisters, Martha Stair Alderson, Ora Lou Perkins; brother, Ervin Brock Stair; sisters-in-law, Icky Martin Stair, Patsy Stair Lomeli and Pearl Stair; along with many nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends at the Holley-Gamble Funeral Home from 5 – 7 p.m. Friday, June 23, 2017, with a celebration of life service to follow at 7 p.m.

Adrienne May Godsey, infant daughter of Jeremy Godsey and Savannah Sadler, was given her angel wings June 11, 2017.
Adrienne had a beautiful smile that could light up a whole room. She would wake up every morning with her daddy and watch him get ready for work with the biggest smile on her face. She would look up at her mommy like she was her whole world with the brightest blue angelic eyes. Her sister would make her giggle and play. She would hold her mommy’s hand and go to sleep at night. She loved to go outside, look up at the leaves in the trees. She loved bright colors, lights, her lambs on her swing, watching Sophia the 1st with her sissy and mommy, and most of all cuddling.
Adrienne is survived by: Parents, Jeremy Godsey and Savannah Sadler; favorite sister, Makenzie; maternal grandmother, Mary Sadler; paternal great-grandmother, Minnie Godsey; two wonderful aunts; and four amazing cousins.
She was preceded in death by: Maternal grandfather, Michael Sadler; and paternal great-grandfather, Charles Edward Godsey.
Services will be held from 1 – 3 p.m. Thursday, June 15, 2017, at Holley Gamble Funeral Home in Clinton. Shortly after she will have a graveside service at Woodhaven Memorial Gardens in Claxton.
In lieu of flowers the family has requested for a memorial fund.

Larry Grant Edmonds, 69, Clinton, passed away Sunday morning, June 11, 2017, at Methodist Medical Center of Oak Ridge.
Born Oct. 16, 1947, in Anderson County to Virgil and Ruby Edmonds, Larry worked for Y-12 and the City of Oak Ridge as a fireman for more than 20 years. He was a proud Army veteran who enjoyed gathering with fellow veterans at the Anderson County monthly Veterans’ breakfast. His greatest joy was being a devoted and loved “Papaw” to his grandchildren.
Larry was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by: Wife of 43 years, Teresa Maples Edmonds; daughters and sons-in-law, Elaine and Scott Mullens and Krissy and Chris Bishop, both of Clinton; grandchildren, Halie Melton and husband Eric, Brianna White, Zachary White, Sara Bishop and Eli Bishop; great-grandchildren, Natalie Ingram and Grant Melton; and brother, Kyle Edmonds of Houston, Texas.
The family will receive friends from 5 – 7 p.m. Wednesday, June 14, 2017, in the chapel of Holley-Gamble Funeral Home. A service will follow at 7 pm.
Family and friends will meet at 10 a.m. Thursday, June 15, 2017, at the funeral home and proceed to Maples Cemetery on Edmonds Cemetery Road for interment at 11 a.m., where Larry will be honored with full military honors.

John William Condon Sr., 72, Powell, passed away Friday, June 9, 2017, at Parkwest Medical Center in Knoxville.
John was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. John was a Vietnam veteran and served nine years in U.S. Navy. He was very proud of his children graduating from high school. John was proud of his son, Jerry, for his service in the Navy and for serving on the same ship as him, the U.S.S. Juneau, proud of his daughter, Michelle, for her service in the U.S. Army, and proud of his son, John Jr., for his hard work ethic and cherished their long talks about baseball. John enjoyed playing golf with his friends around the world on Play Station Live.
John was preceded in death by: Parents, Kenneth and Elanore Condon; and niece, Teresa Condon.
John is survived by: Wife, Judy Condon of Powell; sons, Jerry Condon and wife Kim of Maryville, and John Condon Jr. of Louisville; daughter, Michelle Dougherty and husband Brian of New Market; sister, Sherry Condon of Hesperia, Calif.; grandchildren, Chase Oothoudt, two stepgrandchildren, Travis and Trevor Dougherty; and a host of other relatives and friends.
John’s family will receive his friends from 6 – 8 p.m. Thursday, June 15, 2017, at Jones Mortuary in Clinton. John’s memorial service will be at 1 p.m. Friday, June 16, 2017, in the chapel of Jones Mortuary with the Navy Chaplain Gary Leach and Jerry Condon officiating with full military honors.

Jeannine Genevieve Cooper, 91, Clinton, passed away Thursday, June 8, 2017.
She was born in Paris, France, to Michel and Suzanne Mermet Feb. 16, 1926. She attended Clinton Church of God.
She is preceded in death by: Parents; husband, Vernon W. Cooper; and daughter, Connie Cooper Tipton.
She is survived by: Daughter, Dotty Cooper of Clinton; grandchildren, Suzanne Flatford and husband Roger, Laura Guyton and husband Camden, and Jason Tipton and wife Susan; eight great-grandchildren; nieces, Sandy Bogle and Mary Alice Cox; and nephews, Jack Cooper and Eddie McGhee.

Margaret was preceded in death by: Parents, Clifton and Nell Hardin; husband, the Rev. Lenville Dupee; brother, Don Hardin; sister, Carol Hardin Ayers; and grandson, Danny Dupee Jr.

Dorotha Bell Hill Turner, 86, Heiskell, passed away Thursday, June 1, 2017, at her home in Heiskell.
Dorotha was born Aug. 12, 1930, to the late William and Hounta Bell.
She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother.
Along with her parents she was also preceded in death by: Husband, Ruba Hill; two sons; three daughters; and several brothers, and sisters.
Dorotha is survived by: Son, Lionel Hill and wife Deborah of Halls; daughters, Shilda Sands and husband Johnny of Maynardville, Charlotte Ogle of Jefferson County, Gilda Morris and husband Frank of Heiskell, and Ina Page of Ohio; 25 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; 10 great-great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Dorotha’s family and friends will met for a graveside service at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, June 3, 2017, at Red Hill Baptist Church Cemetery in Andersonville.
