Notice is hereby given that on April 22 of 2026 Letters Testamentary (or of Administration as the case may be) in respect of the estate of David Ray Brummett, who died 1/21/2026, were issued to the undersigned by the Anderson County Chancery Court of Anderson County, Tennessee. All persons, resident and non-resident, having claims, matured or unmatured, against the estate are required to file the same with the Clerk of the above-named Court on or before the earlier of the dates prescribed in (1) or (2) otherwise their claims will be forever barred: (1)(A) Four (4) months from the date of the first publication (or posting, as the case may be) of this notice if the creditor received an actual copy of this notice to creditors at least sixty (60) days before date that is four (4) months from the date of the first publication (or posting); or (B) Sixty (60) days from the date the creditor received an actual copy of the notice to creditors, if the creditor received the copy of the notice less than sixty (60) days prior to the date that is four (4) months from the date of the first publication (or posting) as described in (1)(A); or (2) Twelve (12) months from the decedent’s date of death.

WHEREAS, on October 23, 2019, Wreatha Jean Brock, by her Deed of Trust recorded on October 31, 2019 in Book 1712, Page 484, in the Register's Office for Anderson County, Tennessee, conveyed the hereinafter described real estate to W. Clark Meredith, to secure the payment of one promissory note in the amount of $67,000.00, payable to Enrichment Federal Credit Union, dated October 23, 2019, to which Deed of Trust reference is hereby made; and
WHEREAS, the owner and holder of said Deed of Trust has appointed James T. Normand as Substitute Trustee by instrument recorded in Book 1888, Page 2340, the said Register's Office; and
WHEREAS, default having been made in the payment of said indebtedness now past due, the entire amount of the same having been declared due and payable in accordance with the terms of the Note and Deed of Trust, Enrichment Federal Credit Union has directed me, the undersigned Substitute Trustee, to foreclosure said Deed of Trust in accordance with the terms thereof, on the said real estate.
NOW, THEREFORE, by virtue of the authority in me vested by said Deed of Trust, I will, upon the 9th day of June, 2026, at 11:00 a.m., local time, offer for sale and sell on the steps of the Anderson County Courthouse (facing Main Street), in Clinton, Tennessee, at public outcry to the highest and best bidder, for cash, and in bar of all statutory rights and equity of redemption, homestead, dower and all other rights of any kind, all of which are hereby expressly waived, the following described real property:

Being designated as Lot 6, Block A, FLOYD EARLY’S SUBDIVISION, as shown on the plat of same of record in Plat Cabinet 1, Slide 156-C (formerly Plat Book 6, Page 2), in the Register's Office for Anderson County, Tennessee, to which plat specific reference is hereby made for a more particular description of said lot.
Being the same property conveyed to Wreatha Jean Brock, by deed from Wreatha Jean Brock, dated September 14, 2018, recorded September 14, 2018, in Deed Book 1687, Page 1253, in the Register's Office for Anderson County, Tennessee. See also, Affidavit of Heirships of record in Book 1687, Page 1252, and Book 1712, Page 482, in said register's office.

The proceeds of the sale will be applied as required by the Deed of Trust and applicable law.
I reserve the right to adjourn or postpone the aforementioned sale of property by public announcement at such time and place of sale, and from time to time thereafter may postpone such sale by public announcement at the time and place fixed by the preceding postponed or
subsequently noticed sale, and without further notice make such sale at the time fixed by the last postponement, or may, in its discretion, give new notice of sale.
I reserve the right to take or accept the next highest bid at the sale should the last highest bidder fail or refuse to comply with the terms of sale for any reason. In such event, I also reserve the right to reopen bidding or republish and sell said real property. The beneficiary of the above described Deed of Trust may bid at the hereinafter described sale.
