RUSSELL BORUM

Russell Borum, 70, Kingston, passed away Monday, March 6, 2017, at UT Medical Center in Knoxville.

He was born Feb. 13, 1947, in Knoxville.

Russ was a member of Dixie Lee Baptist Church. He was a United States Air Force veteran who loved his country. He retired from Oak Ridge National Laboratories as a Research Technician. Russ was an amazing cook, gardener, and was great with needlepoint and an avid quilter. He also enjoyed going to flea markets.

Preceded in death by: Mother, Wilma Dozier; aunt and uncle, Blanche and Ed Spraker who raised him; brother, David Borum.

Survivors: Loving Wife of 44 years, Barbara Madison Borum of Kingston; children, Brad Borum and wife Lee of Knoxville, Jamie Borum of Kingston, Josh Borum of Kingston; grandchildren, Patrick and Skyler Borum of Adams Town, Md.; cousin, Phyllis Marius and husband John of Lenoir City; brothers-in-law, Kenneth and Wilma Madison of Maryland, Dennis and Dakota Madison of Harriman; special friends and caregivers, Sherry Oran, Carol McKinney, and Monica Powell; best friend, Jack Adams of Kingston; a host of extended family and friends.

The family received friends from 5 – 7 p.m. Thursday, March 9, 2017, at Fraker Funeral Home with funeral service following at 7 p.m. in the chapel with the Rev. Rick Davenport.

Graveside service was held at 11 a.m. Friday, March 10, 2017, at New Midway Baptist Church Cemetery.

MARY ELIZABETH BUTTERWORTH

Mary Elizabeth Butterworth, 55, Clinton, passed away Thursday, March 9, 2017, at Methodist Medical Center of Oak Ridge.

She was a loving mother, and grandmother. Mary loved the outdoors and enjoyed nature. She loved spending time with her children, and grandchildren.

Mary was preceded in death by: Parents, Walter and Viola Goodman; brothers, Eddie Wayne Goodman, and Joe Mack Goodman.

Mary is survived by: Husband, Ronnie Butterworth of Knoxville; son, Tyler Butterworth, and Nikki Loy of Clinton; daughters, Heather Hopkins and husband Jonathon of Maynardville, and Taylor Butterworth of Knoxville; sisters, Linda Griffin and husband Don of Lake City, and Brenda Hensley and husband Kenneth of Lafollette; grandchildren, Lukas Connor Butterworth, and Boe Hunter Hopkins; many nieces, nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends.

Mary’s family received her friends from 6 – 7 p.m. Monday, March 13, 2017, in the chapel of Jones Mortuary with her celebration of life followed at 7:00pm with Bro. Bubby Hooks officiating.

EVA MARIE CLINARD

Eva Marie Clinard, 61, Lake City, passed away Tuesday, March 7, 2017, at her residence.

Eva was born on March 7, 1956, to the late Raymond Clinard and Margaret Anthony in Baltimore, Md.

She loved cleaning, walking, her pets, and spending time with her family and friends. Eva was a member of the Lake City Christian Fellowship.

In addition to her parents, Eva was preceded in death by her brothers, Steven Leonard Roe, and Mark Roe.

Survivors: Sons, John Robinson of Lake City, Ronald Jasper Averill III of Lake City; daughters, Melissa Dipinto and Samuel of Lake City, Geneva Adkins of Lake City; brother, Michael Clinard of Baltimore, Md.; sisters, Margaret Ely and Daniel of Rogersville, Susan Gibson of Lake City, Geneva Te’Jada of Baltimore, Md.; nine grandchildren; one great-grandchild.

Visitation was from noon – 1 p.m. Friday, March 10, 2017, at Hatmaker Funeral Home in Lake City.

A graveside service will follow visitation on Friday, March 10, 2017, at Clinch River Cemetery in Lake City.

THOMAS ‘TOM’ FREDERICK ELDRIDGE

Thomas “Tom” Fredrick Eldridge, 37, Lake City, passed away Thursday, March 9, 2017, at Fort Sanders Medical Center of Knoxville.

Tom was born in Napoleon, Ohio, on April 5, 1979. He was of the Baptist Faith. Tom enjoyed hunting, watching football, trading cars, and helping other people.

Tom had a big heart and was preceded in death by his grandparents, Birdie and Morgan Eldridge, and Mitzie Miller.

Survivors: Mother and stepfather, Terri Russell and Kim Kennedy of Lake City; father, Jimtom Eldridge of Morristown, girlfriend, Carla Walp of Caryville; son, Logan Taylor Eldridge of Lee County, Va.; brothers, Todd and Jill Fairbanks of Powell, James Eldridge of Morristown, sisters, Misti Beard of Lake City, Ashley Ellis of Morristown; several other family members and friends.

Visitation was from 2 – 4 p.m. Sunday, March 12, 2017, at Hatmaker Funeral Home in Lake City. A Celebration of Life Service for Tom was held at 4 p.m. at 156 Whitaker Hollow, Lake City.

Family and Friends gathered at Tom’s mother’s house following the Celebration of Life Service for food and fellowship, 156 Whitaker Hollow Lane- Lake City.

BRANDON FRAKER

Brandon Fraker, 34, Clinton, passed away Friday, March 10, 2017.

He was born in Oak Ridge on Aug. 13, 1982, to Kenny Fraker and Patty Nelson Curtis.

He was a loving husband, father, son, brother and uncle. He was an all around good guy and a friend to many. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.

Brandon was preceded in death by: Grandparents, James Carl and Tillie Nelson and Ralph Fraker.

Survived by: Wife, Jennifer Fraker of Clinton; sons, Bryson and Parker Fraker; father, Kenny Fraker and Rosemary Laxton of Claxton; mother, Patty Curtis and husband Joe of Clinton; sister, Crystal Henegar and husband Brian of Clinton; nephews, Dylan Duncan and Gage Henegar; niece, Emma Henegar; grandmother, Betty Fraker of Claxton; a host of other family and friends.

NORMAN ‘RAY’ FOUST

Norman “Ray” Foust was born June 15, 1940. He passed away March 11, 2017, at Methodist Medical Center of Oak Ridge. He was a lifetime resident of Anderson County. He was of the Baptist Faith. He enjoyed his friends, country music and farming.

He was preceded in death by: Wife, Marie Foust; mother, Beulah Beets; twin sister, Faye Foust Hatfield; brothers, Fred Beets and Jim Beets. He is survived by: Nephews, John Hatfield and wife Lisa, Eddie Beets and wife Debbie; nieces, Linda Golden and Sharon Battle; sister-in-law, Millie Beets.

BARBARA ANN GALLION

Barbara Ann Gallion, 69, Clinton, passed away Sunday, March 12, 2017, at The Waters of Clinton.

Barbara was a member of Farmers Grove Baptist Church and retired from St. Mary’s Hospital as a ward clerk.

She was preceded in death by: Parents, Elmer and Elinore Gallion; brothers, Charles E. and David H. Gallion; sisters, Mildred L. Gallion and Mary Helen Gallion.

She is survived by: Sister, Betty White of Livingston; nephews, Jeffrey L. White, Jimmy White and wife Jeanie, James R. Brooks III; niece, Callie Covington; sisters-in-law, Nannie Mae Gallion and Sadie Gallion; great-nephews, Nathan C. White, Caleb White, Bray, Devin Brooks, and James R Brooks IV; great-niece, Allison White, Deven Brooks.

DARRELL LEE GOODMAN

Darrell Lee Goodman, 49, Clinton, passed away Sunday, March 12, 2017, at his residence.

He was born Nov. 1, 1967, in Lake City to the late R.C. White and Unavee Goodman. Darrell enjoyed fishing, playing guitar, and watching wrestling.

Survivors: Children, Jamie Goodman of Michigan, Sarah Goodman of Lake City, Tiffany Roach of Caryville; brother, Gary Goodman of LaFollette; sister, Anita Steele of Indiana; grandchild, Kaiden Fear; several other family members and friends.

Visitation will be from 4 – 5 p.m. Thursday, March 16, 2017, at Hatmaker Funeral Home in Lake City.

Funeral aervice will be at 5 p.m. Thursday, March 16, 2017, in the Hatmaker Funeral Home Chapel.

Interment will follow the funeral service at Foust Cemetery in Lake City.
